If you’re looking to stay active but are struggling to find the right group or sport and are aged 45 and over, why not come and try walking football with us. We have been running (walking) for 6 weeks now with our group coming down to the Allan Barker Recreation Ground every Wednesday evening from 7-8pm. If you think it sounds too easy, our players will ensure you it’s not as easy you think, but nonetheless an enjoyable get together with a competitive edge.
These sessions compromise of an active warm up with the majority of the session being based around gameplay which is broken up with some skill development, we then finish with an extensive cool down. Everything is done at your pace with everybody at different levels, so regardless of your age or fitness levels there are still benefits to be had.
