Our community sessions are aimed at providing children regardless of the ability or experience a fun and challenging environment to come try a new sport or continue with the one they love. We as coaches get asked at every session by at least 3 or 4 children ‘can we play matches tonight’ or ‘can we do a tournament’? We say yes to this, we try to ensure that children spend as much time as possible doing what they have come to do, play football as what they see football as.

As coaches we then set up challenges and scenarios for children to think about football slightly differently which then allows work with children on their ideas and encourage then try it and show us. This approach also allow children solve their own problems and settle any debates that may come in during the games, thus hopefully developing more independent confident children.
